Hundred Beards Project
Niqi Segers started this project in 2010 and will continue with it until the result of a hundred beards is accomplished. When the time comes the whole collection will be shown in a yet unknown gallery.
She provokes herself to make a 100 unique beards and photographs. Beards have multiple contradicting meanings, and call out for different opinions throughout the whole world.
Through the ages wearing a beard has continuously had a different meaning. A beard can change the appearance and personality of a man.
Its the task of the viewer to unravel the hidden messages within the pictures and what materials the beards are made of.
The photographs are available to buy as special gallery quality prints.

Gallery Quality Prints
All photo prints are UV-printed directly behind 4mm thick acrylic glass and reinforced with an aluminum dibond plate. With every purchase there is a special wall mount included. This way it will look like the artwork is floating on your wall.
There are three different sizes available of each photo print:
20x30 cm
40x60 cm
100x150 cm
